Part time $20.50/hour

Homeworthy (Homeworthy) is currently seeking an experienced driver who is trustworthy, kind hearted, and compassionate to support clients and family shelter residents with transportation needs. 

Homeworthy offers comprehensive programs and services to adults, families, and youth in Midcoast Maine. We support community members through our wrap-around programming, including Comprehensive Case Management services, The Hospitality House Family Shelter, and The Landing Place Youth Program. Everything we do is delivered with respect, dignity and genuine caring, delivering on our promise of home, help and hope.

The driver is responsible for upholding the mission of Homeworthy while transporting clients to various locations within Knox County. Driver must maintain a clean and safe environment for all involved including knowing and understanding Homeworthy policies and procedures. Driver is responsible for completing timely and accurate driving logs, maintaining a tidy vehicle (interior and exterior), and reporting any maintenance issues immediately. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, judgment, discretion, and a sense of humor. A high school diploma, valid Maine driver’s license and excellent driving record required. Previous driving experience preferred. Positive attitude, empathy and good judgment a must!

This part time position will pay $18 to $20 an hour, and is scheduled for 18.5 hours a week . Homeworthy offers a retirement plan with a matching employer contribution, paid time-off benefits (1 hour for 20 hours worked), paid breaks and 4 hour paid holidays (including birthday!). This position is not eligible for health benefits.
