Per Diem Shelter Support Staff

Homeworthy is seeking per diem Shelter Support Staff to join our Hospitality House Family Shelter Team. The per diem staff will work on an as-needed basis.

The Hospitality House is Homeworthy’s extended stay family shelter, providing a warm, welcoming home, and sanctuary for community members struggling with homelessness. This is an entry-level position in a growing and exciting organization with opportunities for advancement for team players who demonstrate commitment, passion, and dedication. Overnight staff are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for all shelter residents. Candidates should have a caring heart and be comfortable maintaining good boundaries while working with people in crisis. 

A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working in residential programs, client support, health and human services, or the medical field is a plus. We are looking for a team player with an excellent attitude, a desire to learn and grow, and a commitment to helping families learn to help themselves. This position requires good judgment, flexibility, and the ability to multitask. Homeworthy is committed to team development and offers a supportive, respectful culture.
