Thomaston Baptist Church, a member of ABC USA, was founded in 1861. We are a group of mid-coast people growing together in faith, studying the Bible, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus, and reaching out to others in love and compassion. Newcomers/visitors are welcome. We have Sunday School, Sunday morning worship, Bible studies, Women's Group, and Choir, as well as special services and fellowship opportunities. We support a number of local, national, and international organizations, including CareNet, RDNA, Teen Shelter meals, Thomaston Food Pantry, ABCOM, and area Christian summer camps. In 2023, our Christmas Chorus, with members from several area churches, performs a ''celebration of Christmas'' cantata during the second weekend of December.
