Sidecountry Sports opened at 481 Main Street in Rockland, Maine in May of 2012. Following a long tradition of bike shops in Rockland, we offer bicycle sales, service, fitting and rentals to the Midcoast community. In addition, we offer ski and snowboard sales, service and rentals.
Sales
At Sidecountry, we offer a wide variety of bicycles and accessories from premier manufactuers and distributors. On our Bike Shop page, you can browse a selection of bikes that we stock from brands like Ibis, Specialized, Salsa, Bianchi, Electra and Dahon.
In addition, we sell a wide range of carefully selected accessories from companies like Mavic, Castelli, Giro, Bell, Kask, Park Tools, Continental, Michelin and Blackburn - just to name a few.
If skiing or snowboarding is more your style, we have a great selection of winter gear from brands like DPS, Atomic, Blizzard, Salomon, Head, 22 Designs, Ride and Flow among others. We have everything you need to get out on the hill in style.
Our sales staff is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and well prepared to answer all of your questions, no matter how basic or how complex. Service
Service is a big part of what we do every day at Sidecountry. We help our customers take care of bikes of just about every make, model and age. Many of our mechanics have completed United Bicycle Institute's Professional Bicycle Mechanic's certification program, a two week intensive that educates mechanics on all aspects of bicycle care and service. Our mechanics also participate in regular training and certification programs on particular technologies and processes.
