The Salvation Army of Rockland is a local branch of the international Salvation Army. As part of the evangelical Christian Church our mission is to preach the word of God, to share the love of Jesus Christ, and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination. We hold regular church service on Sundays at 11am, with other activities held during the week. We provide much needed year round social services to our community through our food pantry and social service office. Regular office hours are Tuesday-Friday 9-3pm with Social Service days being Tuesday & Thursday. We host a weekly Free community dinner and activity on Sundays at 5pm, all are welcome! Our Thrift Store whose profits from the sales of donated items directly support our social service efforts and year round community programming operates Monday-Saturday 9-5pm. If you have large items to donate and are in need of a pickup please call 207-596-6199.
