Camden Hills Eye Care provides eye care services and eye ware products to the people of Camden and the surrounding mid-coast communities. Our team of highly-qualified, experienced and compassionate doctors include Dr. Steven Lary, Dr. Elizabeth Neville and Dr. Nathan Neville. We opened for business on June 1, 2018 when we took an exciting step forward by transitioning ownership from Dr. Lary to Drs. Neville. By joining together, we have become even stronger, providing the highest-quality eye care through advanced technology diagnostics, and knowledgeable, compassionate, and experienced eye doctors and staff.
We strive to create a welcoming, friendly, and warm office environment where patients feel well taken care of, comfortable and valued. Our patients will continue to enjoy the same excellent level of service they have come to expect over the past 25 years! The office where CHEC is located has been a pillar in the community, providing eye care for the past several decades and we are committed to continue to do so for decades to come!
Dr. Steven P. Lary is a Maine native who received a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College in 1978 and a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 1982. From 1993 to present Dr. Lary has been in private practice in Camden.
In the summer of 2016, Dr. Lary hired an associate, Dr. Elizabeth Neville, who received her Bachelor of Science in 2001 from the University of Florida and Doctorate of Optometry, with honors, in 2008 from New England College of Optometry.
In September 2017 Dr. Nathan Neville, a Lincolnville native, joined the practice. He graduated from Camden-Rockport High School and Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in 2004. He graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry and Masters of Vision Science in 2008.
