This Photography Tour is an absolute fantastic way to spend the day exploring, learning, and experiencing the Maine coast. As we slowly make our way down the Bristol peninsula you will stop at numerous unique locations with stunning Maine scenery, fishing villages, and at spots known only to locals. This tour is a thrill of an adventure.
Once at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, one of the most dramatic of the area lighthouses, you will have time before sunset to explore the grounds, the buildings, and the dramatic rock formations. We will have an early dinner at a waterfront location followed by a journey back to the lighthouse for the evening sunset light. You will depart from the Lighthouse approximately a half hour after sunset.
All camera types and all skill levels welcome. When we first meet we will begin with camera handling tips, review of your menu settings, and a discussion on exposure. We’ll set out to explore a nearby harbor and small fishing villages. Your ‘Lessons on Location’ will begin with framing and composition, and general demonstrations on seeing.
